About

I work across health, housing and community systems, exploring how governance, culture and place influence outcomes across communities, and how insight can be translated into practical, people-centred change.

I’m particularly interested in the relationships between organisations, services and communities, and how power, culture and environment impact frontline delivery.

My career spans health, housing, research and communication. I’ve led strategic planning projects within local government at the intersection of housing, care and community, co-founded a residential property business focused on improving standards around moving home, and written features on health, governance and social affairs for The BMJ, Metro and elsewhere, earning a 2024 Medical Journalists’ Association nomination for Newcomer of the Year. I’ve also published peer-reviewed research on housing, culture, governance and place.

A consistent thread in my work is understanding how systems are experienced in everyday life, and how strategy, communication and service design can better reflect people’s realities.

More recently, I’ve set up a personal, community health and prevention-focused website bringing together ideas and services around supporting people through change.

I’m a trustee of the women’s health charity Pregnancy Associated Osteoporosis UK.

Across this work, I’m motivated by learning, continuous improvement and being of service. I’m open to employed, collaborative and project-based opportunities where I can contribute strategic insight while staying connected to people and communities.
